The Council will collect bulky household items such as fridges and furniture.
Items are normally collected within 7 calendar days of the request.
The cost for a bulky household waste collection is a standard charge of £15.00
for every 3 items collected (maximum of 9 items):
1-3 items
(inclusive) = £15.00
4-6 items (inclusive) = £30.00
7-9 items (inclusive) = £45.00
Alternatively unwanted household items can be given away or exchanged
via a series of websites and forums or disposed of free of charge at the
Household Waste Recycling Centres located across the district. Please
